Do you run an innovative programme in Nutrition, Water or Rural Development?

The Nestlé Prize in Creating Shared Value rewards innovative, commercially viable, and high impact programmes related to nutrition, water or rural development. The Prize winner receives an investment of up to CHF 500 000 (more than USD 530 000) to scale up or replicate his initiative.

The Prize is open to individuals, not-for-profit organisations, governmental organisations, private and social enterprises, and academic institutions. Submissions are open until March 31st, 2013.

Applicants can either self-nominate or be nominated by others who are familiar with their work. Applications can be made online at www.Nestle.com/CSV/CSVPrize and further enquiries may be directed to [email protected]. Nomination process and conditions to apply are also detailed in the website.

Specific fields of activity may include: agriculture, including extension services and use of new technologies; food science and technology; nutrition education or micronutrient fortification programmes; water management; protection of water resources; etc.

The Prize Laureate is selected by the Nestlé Creating Shared Value Advisory Board, an independent body comprised of internationally recognized experts in corporate strategy, nutrition, water and rural development.
